On Thursday December 4th, 2025, the City of New Haven’s Departments of Arts, Culture and Tourism and Parks, Recreation and Trees invite you to the spectacular annual Tree Lighting Ceremony presented by WTNH News 8! Join us from 5:00–7:30 pm on the lower Green for an evening filled with joy and celebration.

The festivities kick off at 5:30 pm with amazing music, captivating performances, and the dazzling tree lighting. There will also be amusement rides to add extra fun for everyone!
